Our effective voice at the State Capitol has provided for:

Guaranteed $93.5M in bioscience fundingwith a minimum annual allocation of  $5.5M from 2006 through 2023. In fact, in 2016 bioscience received $8.68M, so $3.0 million more than the annual allocation.

The Advanced Industry Angel Investment Tax Credit, where fifty-eight investors in bioscience companies utilized the credit, investing over $4 million in 15 companies. With the re-authorization of this program in 2017, investors will have the ability to access the tax credits for 5 additional years.

Colorado Medical Device, Biotechnology and Manufacturing Sales and Use Tax Refund for the sale, storage, use or consumption of personal property used in Colorado directly and predominately in research and development.

Colorado Crowdfunding Act allowing Colorado residents to invest in Colorado companies through online intermediaries under a simplified regulatory regime.

Innovative Industries Workforce Development Program which will reimburse employers with high-level internships and apprenticeships in an innovative industry for up to $5,000 in expenses per intern.

Substitution of Biosimilar Products in Colorado: Formerly, Colorado law did not allow for the substitution of an interchangeable biosimilar product with an innovator biologic product.
